We Are the Guardians of Our Vineyards: Green, Authentic, and Wild
In our fields, time takes a pause, sits down, and invites us to reflect. It is here that we embrace the melody of the seasons, dancing to the rhythm nature sets for us, aiming to capture the soul of the earth in our wines.
We are weavers of rural tales, intertwining harmonies between soil and vine to preserve the magic of an ecosystem with many layers. We minimize the impact of agricultural machinery on the soil, while skilled hands work diligently, treating each vine as if it were the only one in the world. We use natural fertilizers, sow mixes of flowers and plants to invite life and biodiversity among an array of shapes and colors. And our vine rows? They are unkempt and wavy with grass, like rebellious teenagers who refuse to be combed.
Our 33 hectares of vineyards, trained in the Guyot system, are spread across three natural stages: Vadmon, Crosia, and Bricco Uccelletta. Each one is a universe unto itself, with geological stories that would make any textbook pale in comparison: imagine that beneath us are layers of soil dating back over 30 million years, a rarity throughout Piedmont! If this is not a treasure, then what is?
Looking forward, our dream is to help our vines be so strong and wise that they can live long, thriving despite climate change.
Our wines are like open books on lost worlds, memories of eras gone by, and dreams yet to be realized. In short, our wines are not just wines: they are journeys through time and soul, genuine and complex, just like life.
